Terms & Conditions

1. Who you are contracting with

MySalaryPal (the "Service") is operated by Gary Curran, a sole trader based in Ireland ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you ("you", "the user") agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

MySalaryPal lets individuals upload payslips and view AI-generated explanations and dashboards, and lets payroll administrators deliver payslips to employees. Features may change as the product evolves.

3. Account & accuracy

You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you sign up on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: (a) using it for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes; (b) infringing intellectual property or privacy rights; (c) uploading malware, probing or attacking our systems; (d) scraping or reverse-engineering the Service; or (e) reselling or redistributing access.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title and interest in the Service, including the software, branding, and documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in line with your selected plan. You retain ownership of payslip data you upload, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

6. AI-generated explanations

The Service uses AI to interpret payslip data. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not financial, tax, legal, or professional advice. Always verify figures against your official payslip and consult a qualified professional for advice. You are responsible for how you use any outputs.

7. Payments, subscriptions, refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

8. Service level & warranties

We work hard to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days, after which it will be deleted or anonymised.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
